Plastic Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturer

Plastic Auxiliary
Equipment, Engineered
as One Line.

YC Machinery designs and builds the equipment that keeps an injection molding, extrusion or blow molding line fed, dried, cooled and clean — sized and controlled to work together as one system.

Where our equipment runs

Our plastic auxiliary equipment is used across injection molding, extrusion molding and blow molding lines.

Plastic auxiliary equipment for injection molding

Injection Molding

Industrial chillers and mold temperature controllers keep mold and barrel temperature steady from the first shot to the last, shortening cycle times and reducing shrinkage, warpage and sink marks caused by temperature drift.

Plastic auxiliary equipment for extrusion molding

Extrusion Molding

Dehumidifying dryers and vacuum loaders supply dry, evenly conditioned resin to the extruder around the clock, preventing bubbles and surface defects while keeping the line running with minimal operator intervention.

Plastic auxiliary equipment for blow molding

Blow Molding

Consistent temperature control and clean material handling give preforms and containers even wall thickness and a defect-free surface, whether the line is running PET bottles or larger extrusion blow molded parts.

04 — Frequently Asked

Common questions

01What does plastic auxiliary equipment include?

Plastic auxiliary equipment covers the support machines used around an injection molding, extrusion or blow molding line — industrial chillers, mold temperature controllers, plastic crushers, vacuum loaders, dehumidifying dryers and material mixers.

02Air-cooled vs. water-cooled chiller — what's the difference?

An air-cooled chiller rejects heat directly into the surrounding air through a built-in fan and condenser, so it's simple to install with no cooling tower needed. A water-cooled chiller uses a cooling tower and water loop, which is more efficient for larger, continuous-duty cooling loads.

03What is a plastic crusher used for?

A plastic crusher (granulator) cuts sprues, runners and reject parts back into regrind that can be blended with virgin resin and fed back into the process, reducing raw material waste and cost.

04What is a mold temperature controller used for?

A mold temperature controller (MTC) circulates heated or cooled water or oil through a mold to hold it at a set temperature, giving shorter, more consistent cycle times and reducing defects such as warping or sink marks.

05Why do extrusion and injection lines need a dehumidifying dryer?

Hygroscopic resins such as PET, PA and PC absorb moisture from the air. A dehumidifying dryer removes that moisture before processing, preventing bubbles, splay marks and reduced mechanical strength in the finished part.

06What does a vacuum loader do?

A vacuum loader pulls resin pellets or powder from a bag, box or silo through a hose and into the machine hopper automatically, removing the manual scooping and refilling that a single-station setup would otherwise need.

07Gravimetric vs. volumetric mixer — what's the difference?

A gravimetric mixer doses each material by weight for tighter, more repeatable color and additive ratios, while a volumetric mixer doses by chamber volume, which is simpler and lower-cost but less precise over long runs.
